Shackled Voices: Professions of Life
I have established these pages called Shackled Voices  Professors of life to give those of you
with a powerful message a chance to speak. Poetry, Issues, Reflections and Songs are requested .
Although some voices have been shackled by the complexion of their skin their minds are free.
I speak of Afro American men and women whose knowledge,wisdom and understanding of life is
the remedy for evil and misconception.
They're not biased.They're not prejudice.They do not possess tunnel vision.They're those coveted,priceless Professors of life that required no pre programmed schooling to rise to mental excellence.They're gems in the rough.
Through this website we'll free the voices of such distinguished people.The poetry will penetrate even
the most hardest heart.The issues will inflame your soul.The songs will un-dam your emotions.
The only goal is to resurrect the truth .

If you want the world to hear your voice then come here and get published. JAY

If I don't write,

I don't feel right

Something is missing,

Maybe it's the blissing;

The way the pen and paper be kissing,

A poet needs someone to be listening.

Perhaps not, maybe we just need to express,

To get things off our chest;

Our hearts need emotions to caress,

Like all the rest, it's the nature of the flesh.

How else will the world know-

There are more than just evil minds on death row,

If poets don't let it out,

Dispersing it through the postal route

For unbiaised minds to read,

Through you comes the miracle we need.

I simply just need to write,

To expose my inner light.

Despite what the media is exploiting you to keying-

Like you I came to exist through another human being.
