"ON OUTLOOK ON PRISON"
The intended purpose of establishing a prison system in the United States was to remove the
criminal-minded men and women of the country from society until it was apparent that they'd
receive an ample amount of rehabilitative help to be able to return.Other than Florida's State
Prison even the prison label was changed to "Correctional Institution to this end.
Now if a common criminal has without a doubt shown that their mentality is beyond
correcting then mental institutions were built for this purpose.
Although I 'm strongly against the death penalty, as prescribed by the laws of my country a
sentence in which an unremorseful, uncorrectable person who is indeed an apparent menace
to the life and liberty of society the penalty to pay should be life (until his death) for society's
safety's sake.Had I not been afforded the experience of seeing with my own eyes such a one I'd
probably say that this criteria fits no man or woman but sadly it does.
Yet, all means of rehabilitation should be exhausted and all remedies considered before a
person is deemed worthy of a permanent incarcerated residence.
These correctional institutions are solely for that purpose right ?
