To all, hello!
Yes, it is me again dropping in to let you know, that I’m still here unjustly, but yet I rise to try and accomplish (ideally) that which escapes me.
This “European Queen” that I’ve come to have immeasurable respect for, has made me look from within for to express myself in the manner, that I do, but yet on a deeper level. I truly applaud her for that. My understanding of what I’m going to expound on is with mix feelings but, yet and still I must bare my thoughts. First off, most people would define, what I read as “racist” and to me (being in this position) is much greater than “racism”. I’m merely talking about the “poor v s rich”. Those who have the means to buy their freedom as opposed to those who will languish in prisons, because a lack thereof. As for myself I look past color, because it will open up Pandora’s box. I know, it exists, but I choose to elevate above it, because I would in the end be no better than those that practise the “isms”. As I gain wisdom I choose to demonstrate the discrepancies between the haves and the have not s and to further put this so-called system in our quest to fight “injustices” to those and for those who finds themselves below the poverty line and for those in general. Because if it’s only one injustice that’s one too many. And in this “country” there have been many injustices that are untold. And many more will go untold unless we rage and expose the system in all its naked and raw hypocrisy. As my knowledge tells me and serves me right, these so called “United States” were developed as corporations and if this is so, in which the current law books attest to then its all about the all-mighty-dollar, which is better coined “Fiat”. So, economics is the operative word. Now we come to this story I read recently in th e USA Today newspaper Nov.12, 2003. Jury finds N.Y. real estate heir not guilty of murder. Well, you might be saying, “Well, he could have been totally innocent.” I’m here to tell you that not only was he guilty, but also he admitted to killing an old man of 71 years old. The shocking part is that he “said”, he accidentally killed him. Well, give him that, but when you become vicious enough to even chop the man’s body up and put the body parts in trash bags, you have become a cold-blooded killer. The head has n’t been found. Please, can anybody tell me, is that “justice”?! This case happened in Texas. Initially I was born in Texas. Gee, maybe I could of gotten acquitted by being totally “innocent”. These are the situations that we must define an high-light. If you are economically well off, then you can buy your freedom and in the end this is what this system is, everything else is false. What’s so disturbing about this case is that he may have killed his first wife and another lady that was going to question him about her disappearance in 1982. Oh well, the beat goes on. In my quest for my “innocence” to reveal and eventual release I have to stay mentally tough as well as emotionally stable in order to continue this journey. Right now with this compassionate woman on my side I have no-doubt that this situation will come to a head. I’m blessed that the Creator has let our paths cross in this manner. For your observation I wanted to send documents to let you see how they –the system- have shunned my plea for assistance. They have enough nerve to call this one establishment- Indigent Defense Program, more like they are defending the system in not helping those who are incarcerated . Well people, I’ ve said enough at this time. Sincerely, Thaddeus.

Confederacy vs Ameristocracy-
Flag Symbolism” by Thaddeus Hamilton
Beautiful people, hello!
Greetings, yeah, it’s me again making another observation as I see it.
As I stated before, I hate to make statements based solely on race, but it seems to appear in any given form no matter how subtle it is and with that I must comment. I only give my opinion of what I see and comment on what I here. And I as a black man in America have a duty to articulate as best I can for those who might not have the where withal to express themselves. I don’t consider myself a sage nor intellectual, but just an ordinary guy- as I’ve stated- with an opinion. Again, we are in the 21st century and we still debate about differences. Symbolism of any kind can be a powerful tool to subject those- who don’ t think critically- in a state of depression. If we don’t prepare ourselves mentally for battle than we are doomed from the start. This is why I always state that we must strip the chains from our minds and think critically about our situation in order to bring about a possible solution.
Here is the story: As the campaign for president gets under way we are bombarded with analysis of nine democratic potential people for the so-called highest office of the land, but we have one name Howard Dean, who has emerged as the frontrunner of the democratic nomination. Statements were made by this man concerning reaching out to those in the south, who drive around in trucks and display the confederate flag. Now, I see that you are my drift. There’s been a lot of coverage stating that he shouldn’t have quite put it like that. He should have been more tactful in his reaching out to that sector without displeasing those, who are of African descent. As we know the confederate flag in many people’s minds represents the history of slave -ocracy, compounded with this truth they even fly the confederate flag over that states Capitol. South Carolina in all its nakedness. Again, symbols are a power tool even to the point of having selective amnesia over the other symbol which is the stars and stripes. People, are you listening to me?! They have lulled the masses into a state of sleeping giant, if the confederate flag represents the slave system than by God United States flag is truly the ultimate slap in the face.
Could it be that the stars and stripes are the lesser of the two evils? No, it can’t because, if you look at the Dred Scot decision, which was adjudicated in New York, which at that time was part of the union- the states. We are not going to even mention the black code laws that are still on the books. So I ask, what’s the difference? There is no difference other than on the side of the black belt states, they, the north, have learned a new tact and that is to make it appear that you are part of the system. Again, symbols, jewels, cars, homes, a few key positions in government, but look at the overall state of things- deplorable-!! But, if you can give in what I’m saying then you can understand that which is going on around us. To me, these are lessons to be internalised to be remembered and to inform those, who are not able to define or articulate.
To me the first thing we must understand is that we are a conquered people in this land. Period! When this is the case, you must adhere to the conqueror ‘s ideas, laws, perceptions, even religion. I ask myself, if this flag bothered me, what would I do? First off, if I lived there I would campaign to have a red-black- green flag flying right with those other tools of symbolism. And if that didn’t work, leave, move out, let them have it. Serena Williams chose not to play there in her defiance of the flag and that should have been the rallying point. If people are not going to move in an progressive manner in this matter, then I say to hell with it, because really it isn’t important. But what is important is the kids, drugs, education. We murdering each other at alarming rates. Unemployment, under-employment, babies having babies, HIV/AIDS, envying each other and so on. These are our battles. I’m going to give a very recent example to illustrate, what I’m saying and then it should be very clear in what I’m saying. During the invasion of Iraq, if you paid close attention, when government was topped, what was the first thing that happened? Listen! They erected an “American” flag. Remember: symbols! And then someone on that was smart to those soldiers to take that flag down. To me that was the ultimate disrespect of a people. But again, remember, conquered people! Need I say more?
This is why I wrote this article, because somewhere in the middle of things we pick up on triviality and gloss over those things, which needs immediate attention. If we don’t heed history, we are doomed to repeat it. But in this particular situation any flag that is not one of liberation than its false. A flag from any smear or residual content of the past should be abominated. And I say, if we are not going to take the necessary steps to make a difference, then why belly-ache!! Let’s tackle the important things. I think of myself as a man who has graduated from the trivialness of “symbolotry”. Damn, a new term: still learning. You see it, internalise and move on, because that can be handled later. Dealing with these issues are truly minute and if you have delved into symbolism, it’s very enlightening but, we must not loose focus on the illusion, because that, my people, is what it is.
I think, I have said enough at this time on this subject and I truly hope that I didn’t bore anyone. If I did, you have my deepest apology. As you read this, please, remember symbols are tools for the use of the “frightened”! Thank you.
