Life ain’t fair for the innocent doing some else’s time in prison
It’s been 3 years my family never came to visit, the love is mission….
My pillowcase is soaked with tears
So many years I was left alone just to cope with fear….
Late at night I shadow box with the dweller from hell
If I’m winning they tripple team and I just can’t bare….
All the pain, for the rain, falling harder and harder
I’m 26 years old and never met my father…
All the injustices I indure brings vindictive acts
The life cards I was dealt, please, take them back…
I prayed to God to prevent me from this nefarious conviction
But I woke up early in the morning, I was trapped in prison…
Clinching the pictures of my family pen pointing my kids
Confused and all alone is how their life really is
I’ve lost 3 family members not counting the friends….
I heard a man on lock down praying to God and crying
If it really was God, why my folks keep dying….
Me and my so called friends used to party and ball
Now when I pick up the phone to call them up operators block my calls…
When they were in financial need from me, they got the $ cheddar
Now I can’t from them receive a one line letter, saying it’a all be better…
