Can You Feel Me ?

Sometimes you may not understand

The essence of my role as man,

Or why my choice may seem unreal

To see my motives crystal clear

Then all your doubt would disappear,

For I know have risen to my peak

The way I act the way I speak

Is proof that my decisions bring

Success for us as King and Queen.

So never frown upon my choice

Until my explanation’s voiced

Or seen as it bears ripened fruit

For trials have strengthened all my roots

And I would never steer you wrong

Or wreck our lives as we go on

Our search for never ending bliss

Because I ‘ve never loved like this.

You really mean the world to me,

But distance hasn’t let you see

Me struggle to maintain my poise

And block out all distracting noise

Or things that make my duties tough,

My best is just not good enough.

To satisfy my yearn to make

You see your choice as no mistake,

To chance your love to see the day

I place our future on display

And prove that I was in control,

That I was not a thief who stole

Your peace to bring you misery.

So please invest your trust in me

And do your best to understand
